All Time Low Sell Out The Fillmore In Detroit
All Time Low brought their signature chaos and charm to a sold-out Fillmore in Detroit last night, delivering a show packed with nostalgia, energy, and a few surprises along the way. The night kicked off with Paradox, a young band that immediately set the tone with fast riffs and playful banter that felt straight out of early Blink-182’s playbook. Their carefree attitude and catchy hooks got the crowd moving early, making them the perfect warm-up for what was to come. The Cab followed with a set that blended soulful vocals and polished pop-rock. Before one of their songs, frontman Alexander DeLeon shared a touching story about the last time he played The Fillmore when he learned he’d suffered a major vocal injury. Coming back to the same stage a decade later clearly meant a lot, and the crowd matched his emotion with loud cheers and love.
Then Mayday Parade took over, and from the first note it was one giant singalong. Tracks like “Jamie All Over” and “Jersey” had the entire venue dancing, shouting, and waving their hands in unison. The band’s mix of heartfelt lyrics and high energy performance made it feel like no time had passed since their Warped Tour days just thousands of fans reconnecting with the songs that helped shape their teenage years.
When All Time Low finally hit the stage, the energy exploded. Alex Gaskarth, Jack Barakat, Zack Merrick, and Rian Dawson had the crowd eating out of their hands, running through hits like “Weightless,” “Somewhere in Neverland,” and “Dear Maria, Count Me In.” Midway through the set, the night reached its peak when Detroit’s own Eric Vanlerberghe of I Prevail joined the band for a heavy, unforgettable rendition of “Hate This Song.” His powerful vocals added a gritty edge that sent the sold-out crowd into a frenzy and turned the performance into a hometown moment for the ages.
