Trey Songz Turns the Fox Into a Whole Vibe
Trey Songz pulled up to Fox Theatre Detroit and turned it into a full-on vibe for the night. The Fox is already a crazy beautiful venue, but the way the lighting and stage were set up made it feel way more personal than you’d expect. From the jump, the crowd was into it, singing along and reacting to pretty much everything he did.
The setlist was exactly what people wanted. He mixed in the big hits with some slower songs, and those slower moments were where things really hit. You could hear how strong his voice still is live, and he didn’t rush through anything. He talked to the crowd, let songs play out, and just let the moment happen instead of trying to speed through a set. It felt natural, not overly scripted or forced.
What stood out the most was how into it the crowd was the entire time. It felt like everyone there had some kind of connection to his music, and you could see that in how loud they were and how locked in they stayed. By the end of the night, it didn’t even feel like a big theater show anymore, it just felt like a room full of people all on the same wavelength, enjoying it together.
