Authority Zero have just announced dates for their Ollie Ollie Oxen Free North American Tour, which kicks off this Fall. The tour begins on October 29 in Yuma, AZ, and runs through February 5th. The band will be out in support of their 8th studio LP, the recently released 'Ollie Ollie Oxen Free.'

The 13-track album was recorded by Cameron Webb (Sum 41, Pennywise, A Day to Remember, Motörhead, Megadeth) and features guest appearances by Jim Lindberg (Pennywise) and Iagri Shuhei (HEY-SMITH).

Authority Zero celebrated the release of the new record with a hometown show at the Marquee Theatre in Tempe, AZ last weekend and are now eager to get back out on tour to play for audiences around the country.

Frontman Jason Devore says, "Words cannot describe the excitement we all collectively feel as a group to get back on the road and stage to perform. It’s not only for the fans but for us as a collective. We all need this. It’s a release most all of us haven’t had in quite some time and are looking so forward to getting back out and making some noise with our new album push. It will be our first time on tour since February of 2021 when the pandemic started to arise. The time has come and let’s get rad.”

Asserting herself as a dynamic presence beyond standout turns on television shows such as American Soul and Black-ish, North Carolina-born and Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, actress, and performer Katlyn Nichol unveils the sultry music video for her debut single “Liar” today via CMNTY Culture RCRDS/Republic Records.

The video, which premiered on Refinery29 today, spotlights her undeniable charisma and show-stopping star power. She commands the camera’s attention with impressive dance moves and palpable energy. The visual moves in sync seamlessly with the song’s genre-defiant upbeat bounce.

“Liar” not only introduces Katlyn as a dynamic all-around entertainer, but it also hints at much more to come.

For as much as Katlyn Nichol flourishes in front of the camera as an actress, she really thrives the moment she picks up a microphone. The North Carolina-born and Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, actress, and performer can hit steeple-size vocal peaks, get sassy on a beat, and dazzle with charisma and charm all within the span of the same song. At the age of two, Katlyn would sing from her car seat, belting out gospel runs along with the radio. Soon, she found herself recording backup vocals and melodies for her dad’s recordings and decided to devote her life to music at that young age. Relocating to New Jersey, she gained her first industry experience by working with various management companies in between attending the prestigious Cicely L. Tyson Community School of Performing and Fine Arts. By 12-years-old, Mary J. Blige personally signed her to Matriarch/Def Jam Records. The legend often invited Katlyn to make guest appearances on stage. All of these moves contributed to her evolution as an artist and all-around entertainer. She nailed an audition for BET’S American Soul and captivated millions as Simone Clark, acting, singing, and dancing for the run of the show. In 2020, she joined the cast of Black-ish as Olivia Lockhart and will be returning for the upcoming final season. However, she never stopped writing, recording, and singing. During early 2021, she caught the attention of CMNTY Culture RCRDS and Republic Records and landed a deal with the label.

Today, GRAMMY®-nominated and multi-platinum selling band Bastille returns with their new single, “Distorted Light Beam”—listen HERE. “Distorted Light Beam,” a gleaming, metallic rush of retro-futuristic pop, is the first song from the band’s upcoming fourth studio album, set for release later this year. In true Bastille fashion, it marks the beginning of a new chapter for the band—one that revolutionizes their sound—and hints at a new sonic and visual world to come.

The track is released alongside a cinematic official video starring British actress Remmie Milner from the BAFTA-winning series, Save Me, and frontman Dan Smith. Of the song, Dan says, “For us, ‘Distorted Light Beam’ soundtracks dancing through some twisted, euphoric, futuristic club space. Bo Burnham is as a comedian, musician, actor, film director, and screenwriter. He has released four albums to date and headlined four NETFLIX comedy specials. Today, Bullet For My Valentine announce their self-titled, seventh album Bullet For My Valentine. The record will be released on October 22 via Spinefarm /Search & Destroy and sees the band open a bold new chapter. It's easily their heaviest, fiercest album so far. Bullet For My Valentine follows the success of their last album, 2018's Gravity, which saw the metal juggernauts’ catalogue surpass 1 BILLION (yes, with a B!) streams in the U.S. That accomplishment solidifies Bullet's hard-earned status as one of the most elite bands in the hard rock scene.

On the last cycle, Bullet For My Valentine played their biggest shows to date, including a UK arena tour and a massive show at London's Alexandra Palace. "I think it's the most ferocious side of Bullet For My Valentine that I've ever known," says lead guitarist Michael "Padge" Paget. "It's time for us to put out a really angry, heavy, aggressive record. I just can't wait to grimace on stage!"

"I wanted to come out guns blazing, fucking middle fingers flying, and just go for the throat," agrees Tuck. "I think this is a far more aggressive, intense part of Bullet For My Valentine. It's always been there. I've just never opened the floodgates on it. I want to take people's heads off in a metaphorical way."

True to their word, the first single, "Knives," arrives like a punch in the face.

Tuck began writing the album in September 2019 before the Coronavirus pandemic brought things screeching to a halt in early 2020. But in June 2020, Tuck and long-time producer, Carl Bown, who co-produced the band's 2015 album, Venom, and produced and mixed Gravity, picked up the pace again. Together, they hunkered down at Treehouse Studio in Chesterfield, where the remainder of the album was written.

Aptly self-titled, the band has triumphed, creating an album that will cements its place in the metal pantheon.

This celebration extends to the release of the band’s second track from the forthcoming record entitled “Restless Souls” which is written from the perspective of God as a letter to humanity regarding life’s trials and the necessity for humans to demonstrate resiliency.

“’Restless Souls’ in many ways is a honest letter from God to humanity - because life seems to always be looking for ways to inspire, clarify and teach us when things become more difficult,” said frontman Tom DeLonge. Of LIFEFORMS, he said: “This album for me is a journey through different relationships, different points of view, and how we each have our own life path.” 

The tour will begin on September 29 in Riverside, CA and will move throughout the United States before spending the month of March in Europe and the UK. The Los Angeles and New York shows went on sale last month while it was also announced that the band would be playing Lollapalooza on Saturday, July 31. This newly announced tour is their last since their sold-out 2019 fall tour, which was their return to the live arena after a seven year hiatus.

Angels & Airwaves is comprised of Tom DeLonge (lead vocals, guitar/synths), Ilan Rubin (drums/guitar/backing vocals/synths), David Kennedy (guitar) and Matt Rubano (bass) – released the first single and video from LIFEFORMS, “Euphoria,” on May 19 – watch that HERE. NME called the track “explosive” while Rolling Stone said the visuals told a “story about a passionate and ultimately deadly liaison between a femme fatale and a Man in Black.” 

DeLonge, a founding member of Blink-182, formed Angels & Airwaves in 2005. The band has released five full-length albums and charted numerous hits, including “The Adventure,” “The War,” “Everything’s Magic” and “Rebel Girl.” The Dream Walker, released in 2014, hit No. 1 on iTunes and No. 5 on Billboard’s Top Alternative Albums chart. A multimedia project, the album was accompanied by a graphic novel, comic books and the short film Poet Anderson, co-directed by DeLonge, which won Best Animated Short Film at the Toronto International Short Film Festival.

In addition to his work with AVA, DeLonge created To The Stars, a multimedia entertainment company that creates original content across music, film, television and publishing. DeLonge served as executive producer of The History Channel series “Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation" and will make his feature film directorial debut with the forthcoming Monsters of California.

Nofx is bring back their Punk In Drublic festival, It has been 3 years since Nofx has put on the festival. In 2018 sponsors backed out of the festival over comments made by front man Fat Mike about the 2017 Las Vegas shooting.
