The soundtrack marks Metro’s first foray into film soundtracks although his love of film and comic superheroes has long been on display. Previews of the soundtrack music was heard in a Hyundai Motor and Spider-Man™: Across the Spider-Verse animated TV commercial that was released last month as well as teasers from Coi Leray and Metro himself.

Boys Like Girls, the iconic pop rock band, today announce their North America “Speaking Our Language Tour,” presented by Emo Nite. The 30-date run, which kicks off on September 17, in Charlotte, NC, comes on heels of the release of “Blood and Sugar” (Fearless/Concord), the band’s first new song since 2012. Taylor Swift has made history once again this week. The vinyl release offolklore: the long pond studio sessions debuts at #3 on the Billboard 200, logging the “The highest chart debut for a Record Store Day Vinyl ever.” Right now, she occupies three spots in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 (#3 folklore: the long pond studio sessions, #4 Midnights, #10 Lover), joining Whitney Houston as the only female soloist to achieve this milestone. Moreover, folklore: the long pond studio sessions has emerged as “the first vinyl-only release to land in the Top 10” in the modern era. At the same time, it has earned her the title for “Most #1 Albums” on the Billboard Vinyl Albums Chart. The album also more than doubled the previous highest selling record store day sales record. The previous record was 35k units and folklore: the long pond studio sessions sold 75k.

The album chronicles the first time folklore was performed live during September 2020. Taylor, Aaron Dessner [The National], Jack Antonoff [Bleachers], and Justin Vernon [Bon Iver] played through the album in its entirety during the Long Pond Studio Sessions, and this vinyl presents and preserves this moment eternally. folkore notably stands out as her third LP to win “Album of the Year” at the GRAMMY® Awards.

The accompanying visual follows both members through a nightmare-scape of New York with hints at something much more sinister at play. By the end, the footage alludes to a malevolent secret society—which our favorite villains may or may not be a part of.

GRAMMY-winning international pop sensation and critically-acclaimed songwriter Kim Petras has released her highly anticipated new single “Alone” ft. Nicki Minaj – out now via Republic Records/Amigo Records.

“Alone” is a steamy club banger about letting your impulses take control. Post Malone has broken the record for the “most RIAA diamond-certified singles from any artist.” With three newly certified records (Circles, Better Now, I Fall Apart) – Post now has 8 RIAA diamond-certified records, breaking the record previously held by Bruno Mars (6). Post is also tied for “the highest platinum-certified single of all-time” with “Sunflower” (with Swae Lee) sitting at 17x platinum.
