Warped Tour Line Up!

2018 Vans Warped Tour®, Presented by Journeys® Lineup Revealed

Brings Together Friends From Throughout The Years

Including Reel Big Fish, Bowling For Soup, The Used, Frank Turner,

All Time Low, Simple Plan, Taking Back Sunday, The Maine, Waterparks, The Interrupters, ISSUES,

SUM 41, Tonight Alive, Knuckle Puck, 3OH!3, and more

The entire lineup for 2018's Vans Warped Tour, presented by Journeys, has been revealed today via a special announcement video, which can be viewed now at VansWarpedTour.com

It was previously shared that this would be the final cross-country run for the tour, now in its 24th year. On the upcoming shows, founder Kevin Lyman has shared: "I truly am happy to get the chance to travel around the country one more time to thank you for your support, and bring you another best day ever."

For its final run, the tour is thrilled to welcome back countless bands who have rocked Vans Warped Tour over the last 24 years including Reel Big Fish, Simple Plan, All Time Low, Four Year Strong, 3OH!3, Less Than Jake, Underoath, We The Kings, The Used, Tonight Alive and more. Adding to this year's lineup are up-and-coming acts such as State Champs, Trash Boat, Don Broco, Grayscale, Waterparks, Real Friends, and Movements.

Also returning this summer are the newly named Mutant Red Dawn and Mutant White Lightning stages, showcasing the best in heavy and hardcore music: Chelsea Grin, MYCHILDREN MY BRIDE, Every Time I Die, Knocked Loose, The Amity Affliction, Ice Nine Kills, etc.

The Vans Warped Tour is the largest traveling music festival in the United States, and the longest-running touring music festival in North America. Originally conceived by founder Kevin Lyman in 1995 as an eclectic alternative rock festival, with a focus on punk rock, over the years the tour has grown to include a multitude of genres, including metal, hip hop, reggae, pop and more. It remains one of the best tours to attend to discover emerging acts, to learn more about wonderful non-profits and companies who are working to make a positive impact on the world that surround them, and to meet like-minded friends.

Over the past two decades, Vans Warped Tour has built a legacy as the must attend summer festival for rock and music lovers alike. Since its start in 1995 it has provided a platform for established as well as up-and-coming artists, with past performers including blink182, No Doubt, Sublime, Beck, Katy Perry, NOFX, Limp Bizkit, Black Eyed Peas, Green Day, Eminem, Yellowcard, Bad Religion, and countless others.

In addition, the tour continues to host a wide array of amazing non-profits and educational workshops for attendees and 2018 will be launching the FEND Movement (Full Energy, No Drugs) in partnership with thePreventum Initiative. The FEND Movement empowers youth to make a stand against opioids. The FEND Movement aims to engage 50,000 young people between March and August 2018, giving them the chance to earn rewards and prizes as they increase their knowledge and change their attitudes and behaviors in relation to opioids. Youth can participate by downloading the Preventum app and on-boarding to the FEND campaign.

A Voice For The Innocent, American Red Cross, Hope For The Day, Feed Our Children Now!, Living The Dream Foundation, To Write Love on Her Arms, and truth will all be involved this summer, just to name a few. Fans can see their favorite bands as well as become educated on these causes and how they can help.

"I am very excited about the upcoming year. With it being the last tour, the non-profit presence will be as big as ever. Groups who have been out in the past will be coming out in more markets, and hopefully we will attract new non-profits," comments Sierra Lyman. "With more non-profits coming out there will be more options for our audience to hopefully get involved before, during, and after the tour. I am hoping that this last year encourages non-profits to partner with bands and for bands to partner with non-profits on their own events and tours once this summer is over."

The Entertainment Institute will return to the 2018 tour as well, hosting educational workshops and Q+A's hosted by the industry's most successful writers, artists, and photographers. More information regarding the artists conducting workshops will be available in April at http://www.thinktei.com

Also joining the tour this year as sponsors are dailyKARMA, Ernie Ball, Equal Vision Records, Full Sail University, Peta2, MusiCares, PRS Guitars, Hopeless Records, Viceland, Violent Gentlemen, Hope For The Day, and more.

"Kevin and the tour have touched so many lives through their commitment to giving back to the community," shares dailyKARMA CEO Patricia Dao. "They've been doing it long before it was the cool thing to do.  Our team is thrilled that dailyKARMA will be powering WarpedTour's online fundraising efforts this year."

Early Bird Tickets, as well as Super Fan Bundles, for this year's tour on are sale now and can be purchased at www.vanswarpedtour.com. As a bonus for early ticket buyers, the first 500 tickets sold for each show will be at the lowest price available and will include a digital download of the Official Vans Warped Tour 50-song compilation. The cover was revealed earlier today, and features Tonight Alive's Jenna McDougall.

General admission tickets will be available starting Thursday, March 8th.

Households Premieres New Single
unnamed-17.jpg

Minneapolis natives Household are thrilled to share the second single from their forthcoming album, Everything A River Should Be. Fans can check out the anxious and jittery "Dark Matter" now on Alternative PressEverything A River Should Be will be released on February 23rd, 2018 via Equal Vision Records, and is now available for pre-order at household.merchnow.com.

On the new track, vocalist/bassist Joshua Gilbert shares: "I feel like this song portrays the worst side of relationships gone bad. The idea of dark matter and black holes is that there's a lot of mystery behind them, but we do know that they are distractive and pull things into themselves."

"Dark Matter" is from Household's upcoming sophomore album, 'Everything A River Should Be', out February 23rd, 2018!

Everything A River Should Be is a record that redefines who and what - and even why - the Minneapolis trio are. Anybody familiar with the music the band - vocalist and bassist Joshua Gilbert, drummer Matthew Anthony, and guitarist Nathanael Olsen - made before will immediately hear the shift in sound of these 11 songs. While the urgency and sincerity of the raw and visceral post-hardcore they began life making remains, Everything A River Should Be is a collection of dense, dark and brooding songs full of a tense, glowering atmosphere.

Lyrically, too, the album - which was recorded over the course of a month by Nate Washburn at Atlanta's Glow In The Dark studios - marks a change in approach. Not only is this the first time the band have really had any production on a recording, but Gilbert says he has never written from the heart so much or presented so much of himself - and his emotions and fears and insecurities - within his songs.

"The songs touch on some close-to-home feelings for me," he says. "It's much more of a personal expression of my own emotions - it's not so much a declarative thing, as some of our music has been in the past. It's more personal and vulnerable in a lot of ways."

The band will be touring in support of the new record this winter with Senses Fail, Reggie & The Full Effect, and Have Mercy. The run kicks off in Santa Ana on February 27th and concludes in Las Vegas on March 31st. For a full list of dates, please see below or visit: www.equalvision.com/tour-dates.

Romance & Rebellion Release Lyric Video For New Single "BOYS DON'T CRY"

LA-based pop-rockers, Romance & Rebellion have released a lyric video for their new single "BOYS DON'T CRY." Watch and listen HERE. The single is off of the band's sophomore EP, Amps & Anthems, which debuted earlier this month.

On "BOYS DON'T CRY," vocalist David LaViola shares, "Boys don't have to be 'boys'...girls don't have to be 'girls'...and everyone should be able to rock a little pink.  'BOYS DON'T CRY' is an anthem for anyone who is anything but normal."

Produced by Warren Huart (Aerosmith, James Blunt, Korn), Stefan Litrownik (One Direction, Andy Grammer), and Lennon Leppert (Over Atlantic) Amps & Anthems is a 4-track EP that tears out all of the romantic innocence you've come to expect from Romance & Rebellion; distorts it, and cranks up the volume. On their new music, LaViola says, "These four tracks are filled with emo-studded angst, dripping with candy-coated heartache, wrapped in youthfully rebellious pop rock."

Romance & Rebellion was established in 2015 in Echo Park, CA. By the end of that year, the band had created a buzz around themselves solely using social media and live performances, and soon there after was recognized by pop producer Stefan Litrownik. After the release of their debut EP in June 2016, they had to opportunity to take the stage at influential festivals such as Warped Tour and SXSW, and even headlined Emo Nite LA.

Streetlight Manifesto calls out ticket distributors

This morning Streetlight Manifesto took to Facebook to voice their concern about ridiculous ticket surcharges, almost doubling the price of the ticket. In the bands statement they told fans that they were not aware of the amount of the surcharge and have promised to make it up to fans.  "We will brainstorm some sort of gift we can give each and every one of you that comes to the show in question." Read the full statement from the band below.

"IT AIN'T RIGHT.
Hi everyone
So, as many of you know, a certain company that handles ticketing for the majority of live events in this country somehow managed to add a $20 surcharge on a $25 ticket to see us play. We’ve always tried our best to keep ticket prices to our shows as low as possible, so this really makes us angry. We had no idea until the tickets went on sale and it’s our position that while ticketing fees are a necessity and a reality in the live music world, paying almost the full ticket price a second time to some company is completely and utterly insane. We’re looking into it now and we’re going to see if we can somehow get some part of that small fortune refunded to you guys. We’re also pretty angry that we didn’t know anything about this until we heard from you guys. Lastly, we’d LOVE to know where all the surcharges are going. At worst, if we can’t find a way to at least fix this retroactively, we will brainstorm some sort of gift we can give each and every one of you that comes to the show in question. It’ll be a lot of whatever-it-is, but we want to make this right. And lastly-lastly, we will add this to our list of things to check on before we announce shows in the future. Often times when there is a monopoly or a duopoly, companies try to get away with as much as they think they can get away with, and that, simply, ain’t right.

The ONLY way this would be alright is if they were printing the tickets on actual twenty dollar bills."

Conveyer Premiere New Music Video On Tattoo.com

Conveyer released a new music video "New Low" off of their new album "No Future"  just in time to start their 6 week tour in Europe with He'd PE.

“’New Low’ is a unique song for the album, we feel it has a bit of a different energy and wanted the music video to really capture that energy. We wanted the video to have a grittiness to it, and we are pleased with how it turned out,” admits CONVEYER drummer John Gaskill. Frontman Danny Adams adds, “This song is my way about talking out a struggle with social anxiety, and accepting that I can only control what people think about me so much.”

“We’ve been hard at work to share our music with new people in new places, and we are so grateful for (Hed) P.E. giving us a chance to do just that,” acknowledges Gaskill. “Europe has been a goal of ours and to be able to spend our first visit there with such an experienced band is exciting. We are gonna give Europe everything we’ve got. What a way to kick off 2018, No Future worldwide!”
