The Major Minor Announces October Tour
unnamed-12.jpg

The Major Minor was established in Detroit during 2015 as an emotional pop punk band. The members - Daniel Amaro, Ian Redmen, Austin Dryer, and Roberto Garcia - are influenced from early 2000's pop punk to post hardcore that includes Silverstein, Senses Fail, and Jimmy Eat World. The band released their debut EP in October 2015 entitled The Wasted Nights. They quickly came back six months later with the matured Maps EP. During the following winter the band caught the attention of Imminence Records and announced their signing to the label on April 6th, 2017. The band saw their label debut, entitled Different Light, released on May 12th.

Imminence Records' Detroit pop-punk outfit The Major Minor is pleased to announce their second tour in as many months. This second tour, which is happening in October, follows the still happening In Pop Punk We Trust Tour that will go through the rest of this month. Both tours are promoting the band's six track label debut, entitled Different Light. The EP is full of emo dipped pop-punk that harkens back to the middle 2000s.

"This is one for the books! Playing some venues we've only seen on the internet with amazing line ups. Best thing about tour is waking up in a different city and networking with new musicians about their scene. Come talk to us next month!” - Dan Amaro (Vocalist)

THE UNLIKELY CANDIDATES Join Dirty Heads on Fall Tour in North America

Alternative Rock up-and-comers THE UNLIKELY CANDIDATES are excited to announce that they'll be joining The Dirty Heads on the hit rock group's upcoming Fall tour in North America. The Fort Worth, Texas-based Unlikely Candidates have been hard at work creating new music while actively touring on the strength of their latest EP, Bed Of Liars. Featuring the hit singles "Ringer" and most recently, "Violence", Bed Of Liars is derived from years of personal adversity and creative defiance, ultimately resulting in a collection of songs which run the emotional gamut. Check out the band's new music video for "Violence," as well as a complete list of tour dates with The Dirty Heads below.

Speaking about their upcoming tour, The Unlikely Candidates frontman Kyle Morris comments, "We're excited to be joining The Dirty Heads and Tyrone's Jacket on what we are sure will end up being a month long party. We'll bring the whiskey and they'll bring the smoke"

Taken from the album, 'Bed of Liars', Another Century Records 2017.

The Unlikely Candidates debuted at a wild high school party as an impromptu musical duo that couldn’t play music and had never jotted an original lyric or tune. Despite or because of that, Kyle Morris and Cole Male sensed that something more enduring than one simple party lay in store for their future.

Fast forward to 2017 and the band's latest EP, Bed Of Liars, where it's easy to hear why The Unlikely Candidates are the alternative rock band the world is falling in love with. Released by Another Century/Sony Music and featuring hit tracks like "Ringer," "Violence" and "Your Love Could Start A War," Bed Of Liars is pure, powerful, eloquent, ambitious and message-driven rock.

Anti-Flag Release New Track In Wake of Charlottesville Violence

Anti-Flag have released the new song "Racists" in wake of the violence that occurred this weekend in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Listen to "Racists" below

"We stand in solidarity with those fighting racism and fascism in the streets of Charlottesville and beyond. We believe it is time for the removal of all monuments to the confederacy and the racism for which they stand.

Below is the band's statement.

"We stand in solidarity with those fighting racism and fascism in the streets of Charlottesville and beyond. We believe it is time for the removal of all monuments to the confederacy and the racism for which they stand. We must put these symbols of white supremacy into places where the proper context can be provided for what they actually are; outdated, backwards, and antithetical to what we believe the values of humanity should be. It is past time to have real conversations on systemic racism and America's history of it. There are museums memorializing the Holocaust all across Europe, while America continues to try to hide from its racist and murderous past and present." - Anti-Flag

"Pray for the dead, and fight like hell for the living." - Mother Jones

Stories Untold Premieres "Fleur De Lis" Music Video With New Noise

Alternative-rock band Stories Untold premieres the music video for “Fleur De Lis”exclusively with New Noise. Watch the video HERE. This is the band’s fourth music video off their debut full-length album, Can’t Go Home, out now via Razor & Tie.

The St. Clair, Michigan natives recently released their first full-length album, Can’t Go Home, on March 31st with Razor & Tie. Produced in part by Michael Martenson and then by Mick Maslowski, the band recorded their debut in just two weeks. The album is available for purchase on iTunesAmazon, and Google Play.

Channeling a mixture of alt-rock and post-hardcore, Stories Untold unleash infectious hooks, raging with conviction and heart with Can’t Go Home. The album combines the raspy, eerie vocals from Jake Clark (Bass/Vocals) and booming voice of Kevin Quednau (Rhythm Guitar, Vocals) creating a sound that’s entirely its own.

The small town band formed back in 2013 when Clark needed music for a post-apocalyptic movie for a college project. It was then that he discovered his love for music and decided to pursue it as a career. Only a short time after inception the band has played at festivals such as SusiepaloozaBLED Fest, and Common Ground Fest. They have opened for artists like Letlive and even had the opportunity to perform a headline show to a near sold out crowd at The Crofoot. Adding to the band’s already impressive track record, Stories Untold has garnered attention from outlets like Huffington PostAlternative Press, and Idobi. The four-piece now consists of Clark, Quednau, Tim Williams (Lead Guitar/Vocals), and Brennen Moloney (Drums).
